Jeffrey M. Vittert, Principal
As principal and co-founder of Midland Atlantic, Jeff coordinates development, construction, and leasing activities - as well as day-to-day-operations - for the firm's Raleigh office. In addition, Jeff leads the activities associated with the firm’s acquired shopping center portfolio. He focuses on directing the acquisition of value-add anchored shopping centers and the asset management of this expanding portfolio.
His more than 20 years of experience with various aspects of real estate development and investment has included overseeing development of some of the firm's most prominent regional centers - Renaissance Village and Renaissance Center@ Southpoint in Durham, NC, along with the Harris Teeter grocery anchored Tryon Village in Cary, NC. These projects collectively comprise approximately 740,000 square feet of retail space.
Jeff helped open the company's predecessor, Midland Development Group's Raleigh office, and early on in his Midland career specialized in leasing Kroger-anchored centers. Midland's efforts contributed to a significant growth for Kroger in the Raleigh-Durham market. Jeff also has a strong history in tenant representation for such retail firms as Blockbuster Video, Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, and Wendy's. |

Chris Palermo, Acquisitions Manager
Chris will be responsible for sourcing value-add anchored shopping center acquisition opportunities. He will manage the underwriting, evaluation and acquisition process of targeted retail real estate investments. In addition, Chris will be actively involved in the asset management of the acquisition shopping center portfolio.
Chris joined the company in 2007 with leasing responsibilities for both acquisition portfolio properties as well new development projects. Prior to working at Midland Atlantic, Chris worked for as an analyst for a REIT. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. |
