John Silverman, Managing Principal
John oversees day-to-day operations of the Cincinnati — Kenwood office of Midland Atlantic, and provides strategic direction as the company continues to grow and diversify. His real estate career spans more than 25 years. Since co-founding Midland Atlantic in 1998, John has guided the development of more than 20 new projects, totaling more than three million square feet. His more notable recent projects for Midland Atlantic have included the 450,000+ square-foot Voice of America Centre near Cincinnati, and the 320-acre Southpoint mixed-use development in Raleigh, N.C. Silverman oversees all phases of development, construction, and leasing for many of the company's largest projects.
John is currently vice-chair and a member of the Board of Directors for Talbert House, a Cincinnati-based non-profit agency that provides mental health, substance abuse and welfare-to-work services. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Council on Child Abuse, and the Finance Committee of Jewish Federation of Cincinnati. John previously served two terms as a member of the Town of Cary, N.C. Planning and Appearance Commission. |

Ryan Kyte, Chief Financial & Operating Officer
Ryan is responsible for negotiating financing and overseeing the budgeting process for the firm's large developments. In addition, Ryan oversees the firm's Property Management and Property Accounting divisions, which are based in the Cincinnati market and serve roughly two million square feet of retail space in six states. His more than a decade of experience in commercial lending and development have contributed to the company's success in assembling financing for the firm's large developments, and its growing Property Management division.
Prior to joining Midland Atlantic, Ryan was a commercial lender for Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services, where he served as an analyst and commercial real estate lender. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers has been or is actively involved in several organizations including The National MS Society, Council on Child Abuse, the Stepping Stones Center, and Junior Achievement. |
