Director of Leasing
Nicole is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati's nationally recognized Commercial Real Estate program, where she double majored, also attaining a Bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2005. Nicole's commercial real estate career began in the real estate department at Federated Department Stores (Macy's) in 1992. After a brief time at Core Resources managing over 1 million square feet of property, she joined one of the nations most successful lifestyle developers, Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate in 1996 as a leasing agent and then as the head of the brokerage department. While there, Nicole provided leasing for the company portfolio and tenant site selection for national retailers such as Staples, Starbucks, Great Clips, Big Sky Bread Company and Quizno's Subs.
In 2002, Nicole joined another Cincinnati developer, as the Vice President of Leasing and a partner in various developments. During her eight years with BCC she was responsible for anchor leasing for new development projects, working with tenants such as Kohl's, Target, Kroger, Lowe's & Meijer, and she also managed the leasing and marketing departments. Nicole was responsible for bringing Cincinnati its only Crate & Barrel and The Container Store locations.
Since 2010, Nicole has been the Director of Leasing at Midland Atlantic Development Company. Nicole has achieved 100% occupancy at the 450,000 sf Voice of America Center, 100% occupancy at Kenwood Place, 98% occupancy at the 650,000 sf Rushmore Crossing Shopping Center in Rapid City, South Dakota (which continues to expand with additional phases) and 97% occupancy at East Viking Plaza in Cedar Falls, Iowa. During Nicole’s employment at Midland she has provided tenant representation services for Kohl’s, Lime Fresh Mexican, Forever 21, Staples, Firebirds Restaurant, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Home Health Care, Yoga Alive and she has been pre-selected as the broker for Bojangles’ restaurants in the Cincinnati market once they secure a franchisee. In addition to leasing the company portfolio and providing tenant representation, Nicole also provides 3rd party leasing services for highly specialized projects like the $600 Million Dollar Pro Football Hall of Fame Village.
Nicole has 26 years of industry experience and is well versed in all aspects of commercial real estate including land acquisition, property management, development, construction, tenant representation and tenant negotiation. Nicole is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping centers, she was recently a member of the retail advisory board for Xceligent and she holds a brokerage license in the State of Ohio.
