Midland Atlantic Continues Construction on New Haven Commons

Staples to anchor new center

Harrison, OH - Construction continues for Midland Atlantic on its newest development, New Haven Commons, in Harrison, Ohio. Located on Biggs Boulevard off of New Haven Road, the center is easily accessible from Interstate-74.

The 20,000-square-foot center will be anchored by a 14,600-square-foot Staples office supply store. Leasing is underway for adjacent retail space ranging from 1,200-1,400-square-feet.

New Haven Commons is the first project in the Harrison area for Midland Atlantic. High profile retail stores and restaurants including Biggs, Home Depot and Cracker Barrel surround the development, providing high visibility for the site. "The continued growth in the residential sector in this area, coupled with strength of the surrounding retailers make this an ideal location," said John Silverman, Managing Partner for Midland Atlantic. The development is a testament to Midland Atlantic's foresight into expanding markets. Through careful selection of locations and a keen eye for growth potential, Midland Atlantic continues to find opportunities in a sluggish market.

Cole Russell Architects designed the center and Oswald Construction is the general contractor. The project is expected to open in January 2009.
